* Lokta paper is a paper made in a traditional and ancestral way in NEPAL for Lamali,
by women, from the bark d’un arbuste appelé « Daphné ». Cette écorce, pilée et mélangée à de l’eau forme une pâte à papier. Les feuilles réalisées sont tendues sur de grands cadres en bois et put to dry in the open air, on the hills.
This paper was traditionally used by the Buddhist monks for their religious writings. Today, the method of manufacture has remained unchanged, but the paper is tinted to offer more patterns and choice.
