Deliveries and gift wrapping

Article 1: Cost of transportation

When ordering, the customer has the choice between different types of deliveries: at home or at the address of his choice, in a parcel shop..., different delivery times (Express: D+1, D+2, economic: 3 to 5 days). The cost of transport is determined according to the volume and weight of your article, your address, the level of speed and security desired for delivery.

The indicative delivery costs are communicated to the customer on the first page of the basket "Summary". The final delivery costs are only indicated when the customer has made his choice of delivery method on the fourth page of the basket "Shipping".

Kabambi takes care of the transport for purchases of 75 € or more, whatever the volume of the products purchased, only for Metropolitan France with MONDIAL RELAY. Up to 75 € and for all destinations outside of metropolitan France, delivery costs are at the customer's expense (except with a discount code).

Orders placed by customers living outside the European Union are not subject to French VAT. Any taxes and customs duties in the country of destination and the costs and formalities relating thereto are the responsibility of the customer / recipient. They are to be paid directly to the carrier at the time of delivery. The customer is also responsible for checking the import possibilities of the ordered products with regard to the law of the country of delivery. The protection of your privacy is important to us and we draw the attention of our international customers to the fact that cross-border deliveries may be opened and inspected by the customs authorities.

Article 2: Delivery times and shipping methods

COVID- 19 (update 18/03/2020): in the current context of the CORONAVIRUS/ COVID-19 pandemic, Kabambî cannot guarantee its customers the availability and quality of services of all carriers and logistic actors, nor the usual delays guaranteed by them or by the services of the Post Office. No claim for delay or loss of packages will be accepted. The section General Conditions of Sale refer to this article 2.

Orders, paid by credit card, placed from Monday to Friday before 11:00 am, leave the same day if you have chosen delivery by La Poste (Chronopost, Chrono Relais 24h, Colissimo). Orders placed after 11:00 am, leave the next day.

If you have chosen Mondial Relay (C.pourToi) or "happy-post", your parcel, whatever the time of the order, will be shipped the next day.

Orders, paid by credit card, placed on Saturdays, Sundays and holidays will be shipped the next business day. Orders paid by cheque or bank transfer will be dispatched after collection. An e-mail is automatically sent to the Customer at the time of shipment of the Products provided that the e-mail address indicated in the registration form does not contain any error.

Kabambi customers can also pick up their parcels free of charge at the Kabambi store, 6 Place de la République in Audierne (by appointment on Tel: 07 71 10 55 08 or 02 98 95 73 70).

Article 3: Packaging

The products are packaged in such a way as to comply with the transport standards in force, and to ensure optimum protection of the products during their delivery. The Customer is requested to respect these same standards when returning a product. In case of product return, if Kabambi notices that the product is damaged due to insufficient packaging, it may decide to refund only part of the product or to refuse to refund it if it cannot be resold in its original state (see also Article 9 in the GTCS: "Conditions of product return").

Article 4: Receipt of packages

Kabambi reminds the Customer that it is his/her responsibility to inspect the packages upon receipt in the presence of the delivery person and to immediately notify the carrier and Kabambi's customer service of any anomaly noted (shock, damaged package, delivery date not in accordance with the normal delivery service deadlines). In the absence of any reservation, the product is considered accepted by the customer and cannot be contested.

Article 5: Gift wrapping

Kabambi offers its customers a gift wrapping service for non-bulky items, such as accessories and small decorative items. Bulky items are not eligible for gift wrapping. The gift wrapping service is free of charge.
