Originality and particular beauty for this tray
in solid teak...
Intended for food use, whether used as a serving tray or a platter for aperitif biscuits, for example, this item has been beautifully hand-carved by craftsmen IndonesiansThe technique has been passed on to them by their ancestors.
Indeed, the so particular and harmonious motives were found by master sculptors, originating from the North Java. Inspired by the ripples created by the wind blowing across the sand dunes, the craftsmen reproduced this landscape by carving wood by hand. The know-how was then passed on from father to son.
Currently, the craftsmen are less and less numerous, thus, the realization of this pretty tray in fact a rare piece and unique !
This magnificent tray will look great on your table, thanks to its natural colour And doesn’t the effect of the sandy undulations also remind you of Brittany’s beautiful dune-lined coastline, shaped by the winds and erosion…?
