For this range of items made from Madagascar in recycled aluminum, KABAMBÎ works with PASSER’AILES, importing partner of several Malagasy workshops, each working with a specific material.

THE AMBATOLAMPY WORKSHOPS AND FOUNDRY:

These aluminium foundries are all clustered in a village situated 70 km from Antananarivo. These are long-established family businesses that mainly produce cooking pots from recycled aluminium (engine cylinder heads, aluminium profiles, etc.). The younger generations are trying to modernise their businesses by working with companies such as Passerailes, but this is still in its very early stages.

Although the work is carried out using rudimentary tools, it requires a great deal of precision. The objects produced are meticulously crafted, with finishes that leave nothing to chance. Take a look at some photos of the Ambatolampy workshops on the «Creator» page of Passer’Ailes.
