NKUKU - India/UK

NKUKU, a family history

It all began with a British family who spent several years travelling the world. The family spent time in India and Africa, getting to know the local people, cultures and traditional skills.

Enriched by these encounters with artisans from around the world, these travellers return to Britain and set about sharing their world and their passion for Indian and African crafts. And so the brand was born NKUKU, dThe name of a village in Zambia.

NKUKU specialises in the creation and sale of handmade decorative items and tableware.

The brand operates in accordance with fair trade principles and respects the environment. Its products are made from natural or recycled materials and are the marriage of ancient craftsmanship and designs trends.

NKUKU is part of a fair trade initiative. The manufacturers are paid a decent wage and work in good conditions. Of course. No child labour is involved.
