www.Kabambi.com does all it can to ensure the security and confidentiality of online data given by its customers.
The payment method offered by Paybox (e-transactions) is an SSL, a standard, globally-recognised protocol for data protection on internet. It is available on almost all browsers.
The card information given by the website user (number, expiry date, etc.) is encrypted before transmission to the e-transaction payment server.
There are 4 steps in the payment process :
1) After selecting the articles he wishes to purchase, the website user clicks on one of the payment methods offered on the Kabambi website. He is automatically connected to the payment server and asked to give his payment card details in order to authorize payment from his bank.
The details required are :
• Card number
• Expiry date
• Card security code (the last 3 digits of the number on the back of the card)
2) As soon as authorisation is received, e-transactions simultaneously sends a positive reply to the vendor’s server along with a receipt.
3) The e-transactions server carries out the bank transaction (crediting the vendor and debiting the customer).
4) The exchanges of data between e-transactions and the website user (2 and 3) are encrypted. Only the e-transactions server knows the number of the website user’s card.
