These soapstone items are jointly created by kenyan artisans from the self helped group Stone Image Craft and Sira Kura, created 1999 by 2 brothers, Antoine et Guillaume, and based in Vincennes (France). Since 2002, SIRA KURA is member of the Platform for Fair Trade.

Sira Kura buys, without intermediaries, directly from artisans from more than 10 countries, on 3 continents. All the products (decoration accessories, textiles, etc..) are handmade from natural or recycled material.

Sira Kura visits regularly the artisans and if it is not always possible, Sira Kura works with workshops which are certified by World Fair Trade Organization (WFTO).
